Emotions Sell!
When people talk about advertising the focus is always on how do we make the product the hero, how can we use a trendy star from movies / shows or how much going really overboard with special effects so much that the brand just might just get the attention that it paid millions for. Where everyone misses the trick is that from day one of advertising what really sold it was the emotional aspect that makes one feel like that yes this message is real because things like these do happen in real life.
